The AlloAlts Story

In 2004, when my daughter was 3 months old she rolled off the couch onto the carpet and broke her right hip. This never made any sense to me. Infant fractures are rare,  especially from such a minor trauma. She was not able to move her right hip for 6 weeks. She had to sleep in a car seat most of the time because her hip was so painful. As a physician I promised myself I would try to discover a way to prevent this from happening to other infants.  This could prevent the suffering of other children and their parents. Years later it was starting to become apparent to medical professionals that more than half of adults were deficient in vitamin D. This deficiency was beginning to be linked to disease as distinct from osteoporosis, bone fractures, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes and even colon cancer.

In 2008 the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended that all breast fed infants receive supplementation of  400 IU of vitamin D per day. In 2009 the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) followed suit and recommended  all exclusively breast fed infants take 400 units of vitamin D per day. Breast milk does not provide an adequate amount of vitamin D  to infants.  Breast milk is the best option for nutrition for the infants. Using my combined training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics along with a background in Biochemistry from college I decided to provide the best option for nursing mothers to provide the vitamin D their child requires to build strong bones, healthy immune system and prevent disease. AlloAlts Vitamin D drops is that best option.  It is supplied in a glass bottle and made with rice bran oil. It is made with non GMO ingredients. It is free of corn, dairy, gluten and soy.  The vitamin D is derived from Lanolin. There is no artificial coloring or flavoring and the preservatives are natural occurring vitamin E derivatives that can provide their own distinct health benefits. In addition there is no added sugar and it is essentially odorless and tasteless. It also meets the specifications for dosing strength recommended by the CDC.

With the success of AlloAlts Vitamin D Drops, I realized there were other medical areas of need and conditions in which I could formulate vitamins and supplements to provide relief and help improve people's health. For example, some studies have shown migraine headaches can be improved with proper dosing of magnesium and CoQ10. Other supplements like alpha lipoic acid can be used to help alleviate symptoms in diabetics. Up to a third of diabetics on Metformin are vitamin B12 deficient. These are but a few examples of the areas where vitamin supplementation can be used to promote health. There is also emerging data that supplements and vitamins can prevent injury and illness in athletes and help improve recovery time.
Made using strict GMP standards, AlloAlts Vitamins are doctor approved and sold in medical practices to enhance patient care for specific health concerns and as part of an overall preventative patient care program. Our mission is to provide AlloAlts Vitamins as safe, effective, and precise nutritional supplements for physicians ultilization in the improvement of the health and well-being of their patients.
